Books are on the way!!

We did it!

Orders for the two primary editions of the book (the Kickstarter-Exclusive cover and the Standard cover) were placed on Monday and are starting to ship out. In total, over 900 books have been printed so far. I can't even tell you how amazing this is and how great you all are!

With any luck, some books should even start arriving before Christmas! But please be patient over the coming weeks—especially those not in the U.S., Canada, or the European Union—as this is an incredibly busy time of year for shipping.

If you're not already on the Discord server, feel free to head over there and share your pictures and excitement when your books arrive. I'm so eager to see these finally in people's hands! 😁

What About Other Rewards?

So far, the following rewards are either distributed or actively on their way:

Notably, the final release of the PDF for the book should be coming out this weekend/early next week. And that's something we can all be excited about!

Shipping Update! (and Survey Reminder)

Hi everyone! Just sending out an update to let you all know how things are progressing. Barring any unforeseen challenges, the books should begin printing and shipping next week!

Surveys

Of the ~1270 backers for the Cosmic Dragon Breviary, over 1100 of you have already filled out your surveys, locked in your orders, and provided the necessary shipping information! Thank you!!

If you still haven't filled out your survey. PLEASE DO SO NOW! I know the term "survey" can be a bit deceiving. This isn't just for fun or to help me hear what you all think or something. This is where you complete your order. So please, if you're one of the remaining ~150 backers that still need to, hop onto BackerKit and fill it out so we can get everything going ASAP.

If you can't find a link to your survey or never received an email, please go to this link: https://cosmicdragonbreviary.backerkit.com/. There you'll be able to enter your email and fill out your survey.

Shipping (When to Expect Your Books!)

If you live in the U.S., Canada, or the European Union, the books should start to be in your hands by about the third week of December. Just in time for the holidays! This is of course a busy time for shipping packages, so please be patient if there are delays and your book doesn't arrive before Christmas. (But hopefully it will!)

Other international orders should start arriving sometime between late December and mid-January. I'll keep updates on this coming as I know more. 🙂

The Standard and Kickstarter-Exclusive books will all be printed and shipped first, with the special Draconic-language editions following that. So if you're receiving the Draconic version of the book, don't be alarmed if your regular book arrives first without your Draconic-language edition. Again, these are being printed and shipped separately after the Standard and Kickstarter-Exclusive books are on their way.

I'll reiterate this again to hopefully prevent as many international shipping issues as possible. PLEASE REMEMBER: If your book is being shipped anywhere other than the United States, Canada, or the European Union:

• "The recipient is responsible for any customs fees and import duties levied by the destination country."
• "Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and we have no control over these charges nor can we predict what they may be. You should contact your local customs office for further information specific to your destination."
• "In the event that customs clearance procedures are required, please note that it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates."

Surveys! Late Pledges! Digital Rewards! Oh My!

First, you all rock.

Getting everything set up took a bit longer than expected, so thank you, thank you, thank you for your patience! I know you're all eager to get in and customize your rewards.

Late Pledges!

If anyone you know missed the opportunity to pledge on Kickstarter, and they still want to get in on the fun, the Pre-Order Store is now open! Check it out here: https://cosmicdragonbreviary.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

Survey Testers!

A few lucky backers have been randomly selected to fill out their surveys early and make sure there aren't any issues before they're sent out to over 1000 other backers. Check your email to see if you're one of the lucky "winners"! (If not, your survey will be coming later this afternoon/evening. So hang tight!)

The Survey! (What to expect)

When you get your survey, please try to fill it out as soon as you can so that we can get everyone's books shipped out ASAP!

In the survey, you will be able to:

• Provide your shipping information (if you're receiving a physical copy of the book)
• Choose which rewards you pledged extra for in Kickstarter (if any)
• Choose any other exciting rewards you'd like to add to your pledge!

Within 24 hours of completing the survey, the following digital rewards will be sent to the same email the survey was sent to:

• Draconic SC font files
• Masters of the Gauntlet Handbook PDF (October Release)

All other digital rewards are still in progress. As soon as each digital reward becomes available in the coming weeks, you will be notified that your reward is ready for download!

Shipping

If you are receiving a physical copy of the book, you will also have to pay for shipping at the end of the survey, as noted during the Kickstarter campaign. Final shipping costs are as follows:

• United States, American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Palau, Virgin Islands: $5.25
• European Union, United Kingdom, Canada: $6.25
• Mexico: $9.00
• Puerto Rico: $12.00
• Everywhere else: $10.50

PLEASE REMEMBER: As noted in the Kickstarter campaign, if your book is being shippedanywhere other than the United States, Canada, or the European Union:

Status Update on the Pre-Order Store, Surveys, and the book itself

Hi all!

As of this morning, Kickstarter has finished processing pledges on its end! So it should only be a matter of days before everything gets transferred and the BackerKit system is ready.

The pre-order store is just about up and running for late pledges. This will be the final opportunity to purchase the book with the silhouetted, black Kickstarter-Exclusive cover.

Within the next couple days, surveys will be sent out to collect your shipping info (if applicable), allow you to select add-ons for your reward that you already pledged extra for in Kickstarter, and allow you to upgrade or increase your pledge to receive additional add-ons if you would like.

Status of the Cosmic Dragon Breviary (and other rewards)

The content for the Cosmic Dragon Breviary is (once again) complete. 🥳 Of course, the book was "finished" before this campaign even launched, but thanks to your awesome support, Stretch Goals unlocked a plethora of new options for everyone, which will be included in the final PDF for backers, as well as all print editions of the book.

All that remains of preparing the book for print is a few finishing touches on the layout and any final revisions based on playtesting of the new options. This is currently my highest priority—to get the book itself shipped out ASAP.

The October edition of the Masters of the Gauntlet Handbook is also complete, so that, as well as the Draconic SC font files, should be able to be distributed as soon as you take your surveys in the next few days.

As for other rewards, their completion is being prioritized in the following order:

• Cosmic Dragon Breviary (Special Draconic Language Edition)
• Monster Cards
• The Gauntlet: Arena System BETA (Cosmic Edition)
• Expanded Dragon Apprentice Ranger
• Cosmic Minions & More Supplement

I'm planning to have all of the above (other than the Cosmic Minions & More supplement) available by the end of this month, with the supplement then coming a couple weeks later in December. I will make sure to keep everyone posted if anything there changes! Whenever a digital reward you have chosen becomes available for download, you will receive an email notifying you that it is ready.

Status Report

As for the status of everything else: I've been hard at work prepping the BackerKit surveys, brewing these last couple pieces of content for the book, and updating the Masters of the Gauntlet Handbook for its October Release with all the latest Spectre Creations content for Patreon patrons and $20+ backers (and others who are adding it onto their pledge).

There are just a few backers whose pledges had issues and are still pending, so make sure to check in and update that if there were any issues with your pledge, or you may be locked out of the BackerKit system, which will delay or prevent you from getting your rewards.
